Job Summary:
The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational processes associated with fleet data acquisition specifically focusing on route planning and ensuring results are documented. This role involves coordinating the logistics of a fleet, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting the field team in task implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Coordination:
Manage and coordinate the deployment and operation of a vehicle fleet for test activities across the USA.
Oversee the logistics of vehicle transport, including international shipping, customs clearance, and registration.
Route Planning and Optimization:
Implement and optimize tool-based systems for route planning to meet project-specific requirements.
Coordinate routes based on predefined points of interest and ensure compliance with road classes and time-of-day distributions.
3. Team Coordination and Support:
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of drivers and technical staff.
Ensure team members are well-trained in the operation details and procedures
4. Maintenance and Support:
Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
5. Communication and Documentation:
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular status updates and reports.
Document operational processes and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
