We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee a technical project for a vehicle fleet in the USA. The role focuses on capacity planning, hiring, billing, project controlling, KPIs, and overarching topics. You will ensure the seamless execution of a program/ campaign, contributing to the development of future assisted and autonomous driving systems.
Potential travel across the USA, up to 40%
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Capacity Planning: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring vehicle availability and operational readiness to achieve customer targets.
Team Management: Oversee hiring, training, and management of program activities and staff, and ensuring all personnel meet the customer’s qualification standards.
Billing & Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets. Manage billing processes based on documented driving hours and milestones.
Project Controlling: Implement and manage project controls, ensuring that project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met.
KPI Development & Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators to measure project success, drive continuous improvement, and report progress to stakeholders.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and company standards. Manage documentation for legal follow-up and project reporting.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and met.
Transition Management: Facilitate smooth transitions during the project lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding of team members and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
10+ years of professional experience, to include proven experience in Project Management, preferably in the automotive or technology sector.
Strong understanding of capacity planning, hiring, logistics, billing, and KPI management.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a track record of managing large-scale projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel as needed and work across different time zones.
General technical understanding of advanced technologies in the automotive field (i.e. ADAS features & Connectivity topics).
Familiarity with data protection regulations and cybersecurity standards.
