    • Perform benchmarking of features through IQS market analysis, customer surveys, and competitor analysis based on project needs
    • Discuss, Negotiate, and Submit US Requirements to development departments
    • Daily follow up on status of US requirements and verify implementation status with development departments
    • Analyze JD Power IQS as well as further sources such as Customer Feedback Survey, US competitor offerings and dealer feedback in order to extract customer opinions and preferences
    • Test against specification and requirements in the vehicle
    • Create, maintain and manage test cases for current and future system features
    • Document test results, including error description, in error management systems (ALM), and escalate if necessary
    • Pre-analyze test results in cooperation with the development departments and SW suppliers
    • Communicate regularly with developers
    • Manage test documentation including test cases, test planning, test results, etc.
    • Oversee all translations for the head unit project. Act as a Language Champion for all US-relevant text topics.
    • Identify requirements for US market. Validate and confirm need for the requirements through customer feedback and industry standards.  All requirements are communicated and agreed with responsible development departments
    • Maintain daily contact with development departments to ensure US Requirements are included in project lastenheft/specification and implemented according to customer needs and agreed project milestones.
    • Manage a list of all active I&K market requirements for current and upcoming vehicle projects. Functions include, but not limited to: Navigation, Location Based Services, Tuner, Speech, HMI, Text, Connectivity, ConnectedDrive, and Apps
    • Recognition of US customer expectations, customer behavior, market trends, market infrastructure, competitor offerings and strategies
    • Synchronize with local engineering staff to cultivate and cluster new product and feature ideas
    • Act as single point of contact for all I&K requirements
    • Coordinate and align with local market and engineering partners in the US. Synchronize with US Product Planning, Oxnard, Spartanburg, Chicago, and Mountain View offices to raise awareness of requirements topics and gain alignment and market approval
    • Coordinate and align with development and ABK partners in Munich to ensure streamlined communication and acceptance of US market requirements.
    • Communicate and present requirements acceptance and implementation status to upper management and project leadership.
    • Perform market research, customer research, competitive benchmarking, and product evaluations


    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Automotive Engineering
    • Preferred 1-2 years of Infotainment experience
    • Valid US Driver’s license with proof of background check prior to hire at the expense of the vendor
    • Available for overnight business travel
