    The Project Manager needs to have sufficient automotive maintenance background, especially mechanical and electrical content for modern automated guided vehicles (AGV).

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
    • Manage the work of staff and external consultants
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
    • Support the implementation of diverse project goals, including customer enrollment, software implementation, and research design
    • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
    • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
    • Communicate research objectives and strategies to ensure that partners understand their role
    • Manage project budget to ensure that all research objectives for the multi-year project can be completed
    • Work with internal budget and procurement staff to ensure that project implementation occurs within budget and project deadlines
    • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels


     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
    • Proven working experience in project management
    • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage parties with potentially conflicting interests
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Experience in managing product launch and customer engagement initiatives
    • Distinctive sense for new business opportunities and realistic approach to new product ideas and programs
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
