    Vehicle Production Analyst will create documents that ship with pre-production vehicles that track components and process used in their construction and use tracking tool to steer the process of problem solving. In addition, the Management will conduct meetings to update and push the Problem Solving process, prepare reports for status of the projects (Model Change Passat, new vehicle introduction), and support specialist in the Assembly, Body, Electric and Launch departments.

    • Support the process to document open problems on specific vehicles
    • Assist in Prototype and Pre-Series Vehicle builds by accumulating documents
    • Ensure that the build findings from the Pre-Series builds are recorded in tracking tool
    • Ensure tracking tool Problem #’s are routed to the correct team members and workflows are followed
    • Follow up to ensure timely resolution of Problems
    • Conduct Daily Meetings to show status of top issues and push resolution or escalation of point
    • Work with various departments to track technical information for each pre series car produced
    • Resolve findings within department and within a cross-departmental team



    • 2 year degree in Engineering discipline (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.).   Or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 2+ years related experience (Automotive, Problem Solving, data entry, communication facilitation through organization of meetings [prepare agenda, conduct meeting, send minutes])
    • Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Ability to adapt to company-specific software systems
    • Experience with Technical Drawings / Schematics
    • Capability to prepare technical summary reports from miscellaneous data
    • Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creativity and strategic thinking & planning.
    • Knowledge of Automotive Systems / Construction
    • Technical apprenticeship or vocational training.
    • Ability to use inspection related equipment – (i.e. measure, calibrate, gauges/check fixtures, etc.)
    • German and/or Spanish Language skills preferred
    • Understanding of Automotive Market in North America.
    • Experience working with Foreign Manufacturing companies.
    • Tracking tool Key User experience
