    The Process Planner Paint shop supports and implements process documentation, changes, and improvements that are associated with throughput, capacity, and effect quality in all areas of the Paint shop. This position is focused on the logistics of Production Parts, management of Spare parts, steering the returnable process and tracking of offline BiW.

    Responsibilities

    • Systematic Receiving of Production Parts
    • Logistics and inventory tracking
      • Perform weekly inventory of area parts and consumables requiring counts
      • Management of scrap parts and consumables
      • Review results with Planners for SAP adjustments
    • Track units within area of responsibility and support of data entry for the Planners.
    • Document control for Paint Shop area to include Process sheets, Process videos, visual aids and specifications.
    • Change Management for Paint Shop processes within area of responsibility
    • Document trials through the Paint Shop system
    • Support the Planners and Production management in running trials, documentation and parts delivery for lab approvals as needed
    • Validate coordinated changes and Paint Process

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA degree in Engineering or Associates degree with 4 years' experience
    • 2 years’ experience in production environment (preferred automotive)
    • Logistics experience
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and SAP
    • Ability to handle a dynamic work group
