    The Enterprise Risk Specialist assists with leading and facilitating risk recording, reporting, and effectiveness testing as well as several initiatives across all brands.  This position will have regular contact with each department or brand, and will closely work with Enterprise Risk Management stakeholders in providing training, completing risk reports, and preparing other related risk management and compliance activities. The position works closely with GRC Department Representatives.  The Enterprise Risk Specialist will play an integral role in developing policies, materials and training for employees to increase awareness of risk management obligations.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the successful implementation and roll out of Enterprise Risk Management policy and guideline by developing processes which will ensure that the business units submit appropriate documentation.
    • Conduct risk analyses and testing in an effort to inform the business on the quality of their control environment.
    • Provide training and guidance to users of the risk reporting and monitoring system (RICORS).
    • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees and ensure any training programs or modules received are presented in an understandable format.
    • Coordinate and assist with testing and recording of risks, “countermeasures” and management controls (internal controls).
    • Record and document effectiveness testing and respond to comments and feedback from GRC Departments.
    • Assist with the completion of Risk Reports and submission.
    • Assist colleagues in the broader Corporate Compliance department, as needed.
    • Prepare reports for Chief Compliance Officer to present to company management.
    • Develop employee communications materials regarding GRC topics, particularly with respect to Compliance. Adopt existing policies to Group standard format.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in a corporate environment
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Good communication skills, oral and written
    • MS Office Suite, specifically with MS PowerPoint and Excel
    • Experience creating/developing reports, procedures, and materials
    • Experience developing and delivering training to any/all levels of an organization.
    • Working familiarity with Excel, Power Point
    • Project Management experience
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Process Improvement skills
    • Good relationship building skills
    • Ability to influence
    • Change management experience
    • Minimal travel required
