    • Evaluation of project change requests for cost, quality and timing
    • Support development of engineering solutions to launch issues
    • Evaluate early project requests for impact to Quality Assurance
    • Know what the technical aspects are of the vehicle in order to understand change impact
    • Keep an ongoing list of project strengths and weaknesses for future improvement
    • Project/Product change evaluations
    • Set Meeting participation for their commodity and manage the topics
    • Launch problem management


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management or equivalent required, Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering desired
    • 3+ Years of Professional Experience in Automotive-Related Industry or Commodity Related Activity
    • 2+ Years of Experience in Quality Management
    • Analytical Skills (Technical and Information)
    • Decision Making – Ability to get input from many different departments and make best decision for QA.  
    • Process oriented – Put processes in place and follow those to obtain results.
    • Customer Focus – Knowledge of customer needs and wants and apply those to potential future changes.
    • Lessons Learned – Be able to learn from past mistakes and successes to make improvements in the future.  
    • Result and Performance Driven – Achieve set targets and goals.
    • Team work - Be able to work closely with inter-department groups and externally within the company.
    • Strong Problem Solving Orientation and motivation to work around obstacles

    • Strong Influencing and Negotiation Skills
    • Technical Product Knowledge
    • Ability to Read Drawings
    • Understanding of product development and engineering requirements.
    • Constant monitoring and adjustment of decided measures
    • Fluent in German Language preferred
    • Foreign assignment experience
    • Understanding of factory requirements for project launch and ongoing change management
    • In-depth Commercial and Technical Product Knowledge
    • Automotive technical knowledge
