    The Connect Technical Support Specialist is responsible for technical support for all connected car features and functions in the vehicle. Connect includes a suite of safety, security, and entertainment options that allows the customer, and their passengers, to stay connected to the internet at all times. Some key features of connect include Remote vehicle Lock & Unlock, Online navigation destinations, Weather updates, Fuel Prices, and an LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot, just to name a few.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for dealer and customer technical support for all aspects of Audi connect inside and outside the vehicle
    • Provide problem resolution for connect vehicle concerns, backend server concerns, or MNO configuration concerns
    • Utilize our IT ticketing system, the MNO ticketing system, and the dealer facing ticketing system to document your work and facilitate communication with other internal customer and dealer support groups
    • Hand-hold and work with all levels of end users including high-level users, novice users, non-technical users, and demanding users
    • Responsible for troubleshooting customer, dealer, and vehicle issues, while maintaining customer privacy. Additionally responsible for identifying and reporting chronic operational and vehicle issues as they relate to connect.

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer/Information Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Preferred a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
    • Minimum 3 years of practical IT or Engineering experience required
    • Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience
    • Must be a self-starter, team player, and possess strong communication & customer service skills with the ability to stay on task when working independently
    • Must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Must possess working knowledge and practical experience with basic computer networking and must have a high-level understanding of vehicle electronics.
    • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
    • Demonstrated success taking direction and working independently
    • Must have excellent customer relation skills, superior written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Must be exceptionally detailed oriented
    • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain an effective follow-up system to ensure timely and accurate handling of information requests
    • Demonstrated ability to use discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential information 
    • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
