    Responsibilities

    • Provide operational support to the Telematics Test House by supporting the testing, verification, and validation of telematics components, more specifically related to defect management and reporting.
    • Assist with operational aspects of regularly scheduled test drives, report errors, supporting documentation and traces, and promptly communicate technical and quality related issues obtained from the testing, validation and verification process to MBRDNA
    • Participate and Chair daily kick-off/wrap-up meetings for regularly scheduled Test Drives.
    • Responsible for the collection/aggregation of daily testing results and submission of both daily and final summary reports to MBRDNA and Daimler AG.
    • Assist in defect management tasks including but not limited to: trend analysis, tracking, reporting and processing

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
    • Experience in the development, testing, or validation of embedded electronic systems in the automotive or consumer electronics industries, or similar experience
    • Previous Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier work experience
    • Work experience with vendors, suppliers are a plus
    • Experience with embedded software or automotive solutions. Experience with OEM or Aftermarket Navigation system testing and/or development is a plus
    • Ability to work in cross-functional, international teams
    • Experience with MS VBA or other object oriented programming language
    • Ability to work in a team, as well as an individual
    • Thorough understanding of vehicle architecture, telematics and electrical systems
    • Detail oriented
    • Proficient in MS-Office Suite
    • Experience writing Macros or automatizing repetitive tasks
