    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support to the Telematics Test House by supporting the testing, verification, and validation of telematics components, more specifically related to System Integration, Connectivity Systems, and performing hands on ECU replacement and ECU flashing
    • Assist with resolving technical problems, report errors, support documentation and traces, and promptly communicate technical and quality related issues obtained from the testing, validation and verification process
    • Participate in kick-off/wrap-up meetings and scheduled test drives.
    • Organize regular touchpoint meetings with RD/U and RD NA/C colleagues as necessary to ensure prioritization of requests and collect project updates
    • Responsible for the development of testing procedures, test cases, and ensuring special tools are maintained and configured/revised accordingly with requirements from project team
    • Partner closely with internal Telematics Test House teams, suppliers, and business partners to ensure pertinent test results are provided in a timely manner and revisions to software, calibration, and data content is documented and received before QA testing
    • Perform hardware and software configuration updates of test vehicles and equipment according to customer specification and requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
    • Experience in the development, testing, or validation of embedded electronic systems in the automotive or consumer electronics industries, or similar experience
    • Ability to work in a team, as well as an individual
    • German language skills
    • Previous Automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or related work experience
    • Hands on vehicle ECU replacement, software updates, and software calibration
    • Must be able to operate motor vehicle within USA/Canada
    • Must be able to travel domestically & internationally (Canada & Germany)
    • Experience with embedded software or automotive solutions
    • Experience with OEM or Aftermarket Navigation system testing and/or development is a plus
    • Ability to work in cross-functional, international teams
