  • Providing support to automotive Conveyor Controls Specialist responsible for Controls
  • Project Management execution of multiple individual conveyor and automation equipment controls projects
  • Develop overall controls specifications
  • Contractor design reviews/approvals
  • On-site and off-site pre-checks of vendor panel build and panel modifications
  • Verifications of electrical installations
  • Evaluation of simulation/emulations as required
  • Elect/controls weekend work and jobsite coordination
  • Support testing and startup verifications
  • Project status monitoring
  • “Monday morning” SOP’s
  • Systems requiring integration:
    • EcoEmos
    • Synatec (Atlas Copco – torque tools and Body Tracking)
    • Electrified Monorail Systems (EMS): LJU
    • Siemens S7
    • Fanuc / Kuka robotic controls
    • Others
    • Kanban Process
    • Punch List – (Maintain punch list and punch list reporting)
    • Daily Job site review meeting
    • Daily Job site pre-work meeting


  • 3+ years in engineering position with conveyor technology OR 5+ year in electrical project management or electrical journeyman
  • Electrical Engineering (or related) bachelor’s degree OR Equivalent project management and electrical journeyman with verifiable experience 
  • Automotive conveyor installations and start-up projects
  • Strong project management skills
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic
  • Communication skills – interpersonal and written
  • Project management skills
  • Computer savvy – skilled in the use of software

  • Support 2nd or off-shift installation activities (if required)
