Responsibilities

  • Support Press Car team in all activities, such as:
    • PDI (Perfect Delivery Inspection) for local cars produced in Chattanooga and FBU-Cars
    • Evaluation from press cars (dynamic and static)
    • Collaboration with the quality assurance for the Hand-over of press cars
  • Support Type monitor in all activities, such as:
    • Create Project status of the Vehicle Integration and provide it for committees and drives
    • Organize Test drives and Customer Comfort Drives
    • Interface between departments
    • Tracking of critical Customer complaints with WOB and MEX
    • Permanent production checks in close collaboration with the Development Departments
    • Responsible for EPC-E Pool cars (Planning / Organization)
    • Knowledge about important AEKO or AWE for the implementation in special cars
    • Special automotive knowledge
    • Making the project status transparent and provide it for committees and drives
    • Coordinating the validation of Vehicle Integration experimental vehicles
    • Synchronizing of information from the Vehicle Integration section with committees
    • Knowledge of top-appraisals and top-failures
    • Representing the vehicle project in committees
    • Representing the Type tutor on drives and in committees

Qualifications

  • BS degree (Engineering field preferred).
  • Or the equivalent of 4 years proven experience in similar jobs.
  • Experience in interfacing Production, Quality Assurance, Pilot Hall, Logistics and Customer Service.
  • Special automotive knowledge – special car preparation or similar background.
  • Provide analysis support of customer complaints.
  • Ability to train new local staff.
  • If possible, experience in the co-operation with OEM development departments.
  • Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to details with the ability to organize, plan and prioritize workloads
  • German language knowledge preferred.
