The Supplier Management Support Specialist is responsible for supplier communication and controlling, monitoring of reports, and financial release of complain reports.


  • Supplier communication in terms of technical and logistical complaint reports & 8D reports
  • Regular supplier visits in order to discuss improvements on part quality and logistical topics
  • Follow up of supplier indicated measurements
  • Participation of RADAR meetings (supplier rating / escalation meetings)
  • Regular communication to CDC supplier management, quality & material management Feedback of supplier performance to CDC
  • Preparing documentation and general communication incl. reports e.g. via PowerPoint, excel, for supplier ranking/ escalation
  • Monitoring of existing complaint reports in the respective Warehouse IT systems (e.g.B2B Portal) to support necessary escalation levels with the suppliers
  • Proceed / complete complaint reports
  • Creation and monitoring of 8D reports in the system (e.g. B2B Portal) in case we have more than 2 CR for the same issue
  • Creation of reports for tracking the requirement for 8D reports to be triggered (next escalation level for suppliers)
  • Rate 8D Reports and ensure completion and effectiveness
  • Financial Release of Logistic Complaint Reports


  • BS degree or equivalent of 3 years’ experience in a field in manufacturing, logistics or packaging as quality engineer or manager
  • Min 2 years’ experience working in quality departments
  • Experience in automotive industry
