Responsibilities

  • Applies project management methods for new vehicle projects in the SKD environment for the packing operation.
  • Facilitates the successful integration of new vehicle projects into daily CS operations.
  • Integrates into central project team(s) as the primary representative of the Consolidation Services packing operation.
  • Estimates local project resource requirements (team members and finances) and organizes project structures.
  • Establishes local project-specific timelines and tracks project progress.
  • Leads local project team using standard project management tools.
  • Reports project progress and escalates critical issues to management.
  • Implements and is responsible for integration planning in the supply chain of the foreign production network. The objective is investment- and cost-optimized integration of new or additional products in existing structures and material flows/packaging
  • Independent creation and agreement of methods and standards for specialized processes and overarching topics of the technology (-ies) within the department's strategy (-ies). Responsible for the sustainable use in the Group and their timeliness.
  • Works within the production network and central line departments all functions in the context of resource and network control.
  • Support/develop business cases as a basis for analysis and evaluation of alternative considerations with respect to the impact on structural/packaging investment as well as material and process costs.  Supports with such business cases as input for change requests, evaluation requests, decision submissions, and evaluation runs.

  • Supply Chain Management Specialist with Automotive Experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent Skills in Change Management
  • Excellent Process Analysis Skills
  • Experience in Packaging Engineering
  • Advanced MS Office Skills*, esp. Word, Excel, Powerpoint
