The Marketing Coordinator will lead and manage all aspects of the European delivery program as well as support the Experiential Marketing Senior Specialists who lead and manage Auto Shows, Dealer Meetings, Brand Shows and other lifestyle and motorsports events. The European Delivery program offers all customers buying a new, custom built vehicle the opportunity to pick up their vehicle at the factory in Germany for an immersive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the European Delivery program by increasing dealer participation, developing customer marketing communications, increasing program awareness, and developing initiatives to meet sales objectives
  • Liaison between teams in Ingolstadt, Germany
  • Assist in the production and allocation process of European Delivery orders Maintain budget for European Delivery program
  • Provide event management support and internal process support for Experiential Marketing Senior Specialists who lead and manage Auto Shows, Dealer Meetings, Brand Shows and other lifestyle and motorsports events
  • Provide white-glove service to all European Delivery customers and potential customers
  • Manage all aspects of the European Delivery program, including program marketing, communications, strategic direction, systems support, budget tracking and training material development
  • Work cross-functionally with the field organization as well as other marketing and PR departments to increase dealer and customer participation in the European Delivery program
  • Manage the customer delivery process from order inception to final delivery at the Customer Delivery Center in Germany Collaborate with the Customer Delivery Center in Germany to ensure timeliness of each vehicle delivery
  • Coordinate customer visits to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Oversee import of each European Delivery vehicle from customer drop off in Europe to final vehicle delivery at a U.S. dealership Manage European Delivery program partnership with Importer to ensure customs clearance in Europe and the U.S.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Customer Relations in all customer cases related to the European Delivery program Collaborate with Marketing disciplines and Public Relations to build European Delivery program awareness
  • Communicate directly with dealers to ensure European Delivery accuracy and offers
  • Manage sales and marketing reporting
  • Assist Experiential Marketing Senior Specialists with event planning and project management which may include routing contracts, processing purchase orders (POs) and check requests, collaborating with other departments, liaising with agency partners and internal stakeholders, developing presentations, metric reporting, asset management, maintaining event registrations, ticket management/distribution, etc.
  • Presentation development as needed on various events and programs for the purpose of reporting out to executives
  • Responsible for management of the Forum in Herndon including oversight of all show car logistics, refurbishment activities, meeting planning and general management within this space
  • Develop relationships with finance, procurement, and legal teams to ensure mastery of internal purchasing, contract, and reconciliation processes
  • General administrative duties as needed to assist the department as a whole in execution of all experiential programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of professional experience
  • 1-2 years of:
    • Customer service or hospitality experience - experience in working with luxury branding and providing premium, high-end consumers personalized service and “white-glove” treatment
    • Event planning and management experience
    • Marketing experience
  • Automotive experience ideal, but not required
  • Some travel, will require weekends on occasion, and evening hours
  • Superior customer service skills and resolution management
  • Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, verbal and written
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, effective follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously
  • Computer savvy – skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and software
  • Analytical – ability to problem solve with limited supervision
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Enjoys working in a team environment with challenging priorities, fast pace and a wide variety of projects
  • High level of flexibility to handle multiple priorities and maintain a calm demeanor while handling several customers and priorities at one time
