The RTK Claims Specialist is responsible for analyzing, assessing, approving / denying of automotive parts claims requests based upon circumstances systematically and physically.

Responsibilities

  • Decision making process needs to consider technical/legal/economical aspects
  • Ensure compliance with existing legal/contractual/customs related policies
  • Assign claims in the respect of being supplier related, customer related, 3PL related, transport related, and issuance of debits to appropriate parties (when applicable) ; this also might result in a complaint report
  • Inquiries and related research for approval / denial
  • Advising and assisting RDCs with DC Hub claims issues
  • Manage the timely and accurate issuance of credits
  • Archiving and filing upon legal and compliance requirements, maintain auditable records
  • Conduct Claim analysis and Error Rate analysis
  • Development and Creation of reports related to claim reasons, error reasons
  • Analysis of damages and assigning reason codes
  • Provide input on continuous improvement of the RTK and Claims process

  • Communication to related process partners, e.g. packaging planning, quality

  • Development of improvement measurements

  • General contact partner for any DC Hub related inquiries in terms of transportation

  • Communication to RDCs on changes related to quality, general awareness

 

 

Qualifications

  • BS degree or equivalent of 3 years’ experience in a field in manufacturing, logistics or packaging as quality engineer or manager

  • Min 2 years’ experience working in quality departments
  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Experience working in packaging environment Analytical thinking – using logic and reason
  • Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation and written
  • Conceptual thinking – creative and strategic
  • Analytical Thinking – using logic and reason
  • Problem Solving – creating options and solutions
