Responsibilities

  • Perform benchmarking of features through IQS market analysis, customer surveys, and competitor analysis based on project needs
  • Discuss, negotiate, and submit US requirements to development departments
  • Daily follow up on status of US requirements and verify implementation status with development departments
  • Analyze JD Power IQS, as well as further sources such as Customer Feedback Survey, US competitor offerings and dealer feedback in order to extract customer opinions and preferences
  • Document test results, including error description, in error management systems, and escalate if necessary
  • Pre-analyze test results in cooperation with the development departments and SW suppliers
  • Manage and Prioritize documented errors in error management systems
  • Coordinate with local Functional Owners to identify and escalate top issues & project showstoppers.
  • Report project status and test results to EI departments using the standard reporting tools
  • Synchronize and prioritize with other US testing sites regarding the project status and open topics to ensure an aligned feedback
  • Assist in the resolution of customer issues
  • Plan test focus & vehicle assignment for weekend test-drives for engineering team.
  • Communicate regularly with developers
  • On-site support for local supplier management to ensure that all project partners are aligned with latest status
  • Manage test documentation incl. test cases, test planning, test results, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Automotive Engineering
  • Preferred 1-2 years of Infotainment experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with error management software & tooling
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & Database skills.
  • Driver’s license to operate automobiles with clean driving record
  • Limited overnight travel required
  • Preferred French-Canadian, Spanish, and/or German language; both spoken and written
  • Effective communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
