The Project Manager, Visual Merchandiser will contribute to the advertising, marketing, and sales efforts of Automotive dealerships by designing, developing and taking charge of the visual look of their showroom and parts boutique merchandise. This person will execute merchandising strategies by creating and maintaining visual displays in dealerships on the showroom floor and in each dealerships Lifestyle boutique. This person will also contribute to the profitability of the automotive dealerships by supporting with merchandise handling, replenishment, and inventory control efforts.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual Lifestyle sales plan in accordance with an OEM dealership
  • Provide ongoing coaching to ensure attainment of the agreed upon targets
  • Develop and execute quarterly marketing plans appropriate for the individual dealership within assigned territory
  • Monthly review of dealership purchase, sales and profitability relative to best-in-class center performance within assigned territory
  • Record each center contact. It should include the date, place, substance of discussion, action items and parties contacted. The report should be submitted to the client Program Manager as appropriate for review and approval once completed
  • Key responsibilities as a visual merchandising associate will include:
  • Visual display, inventory management, and merchandising training including design of the visual displays and execution of the design decisions
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a compelling presentation of merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales activity
  • Ensure brand image and style of the company is projected at all times
  • Merchandise, shelving, and fixtures. Change signs, and maintain and provide direction on the cleanliness and functionality of fixtures, signage, lights, and equipment

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in the automotive business
  • Minimum completion of a 4 Year University degree or College
  • Ability to build relationships speak fluent German with German partners
  • A proficient knowledge of ATLAS, internal parts systems and pricing systems
  • Automotive Aftersales Business Development, including the prior development of sales promotions, campaigns and incentive programs
  • Lifestyle and parts related experience including visual merchandising skills
  • Candidate must possess excellent relationship management and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of the OE premium, brand dealership network and a thorough understanding of dealership operations and processes is preferred
  • Experience working at or with premium dealers, automotive OE manufacturers or accessory suppliers
  • Ability to travel 60% to 70%
  • Self-directed, sales focused, organized, excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, as well as planning, project management, and time management expertise
  • Poses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong creative flair and effective problem solving abilities
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Power Point, Excel and word is a must
