  • Coordinates and evaluates root-cause analysis of issues reported by sensors, and if necessary, will take over the problem solver role.
  • Performs analysis of proposed design changes, e.g. line trials
  • Coordinates upcoming design changes and containments with launch and change department, logistics and supplier.
  • Coordinates design related rework
  • Monitors solution and timing of development issues.
  • Responsible for effectiveness of countermeasure and containments in his area.
  • Evaluates design changes for functional validation for both new model introduction and running series changes and is accountable for results.
  • Initiates analysis of Plant sensor data (QZ, rework, road-test) and GWK data and prioritizes top issues and creates individual activities and long term solutions.
  • Perform analysis support for pre-series, series and field issues


  • Bachelor in engineering field (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical preferred) plus 2 years automotive experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in your field (quality engineering, design engineering, product engineering, etc.)
  • 2+ years of automotive experience including working with component suppliers, development groups, service providers or manufacturer producing or servicing components used in the automotive field.
  • Experience with haptics, optics and acoustics in general and especially related switches
  • Experience with complex premium automotive systems
  • Ability to drive investigate root cause analysis of functional issues
  • Experience working in Launch and Seriesproduction.
  • Basic CAD / DMU knowledge
  • Basic German language knowledge preferred
  • Good communication skills
