    This position will be located in the manufacturing environment responsible for assembly related quality issues. Supplier management / coordination for delivery performance, maintenance of Quality standards for B shift.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Monitor supplier related data from internal plant sensors and provide data to suppliers at escalation meetings.
    • Review product and process non-conformance and recommend remedial actions
    • Continually work with suppliers to improve performance
    • Using assembly base quality input, pre-analyze supplier issues to validate most likely root cause
    • Determine if containment is necessary and implement accordingly.
    • Manage material during containment process internally and with supplier.
    • Enter customer complaint reports, disposition of customer rejections, charge back, create and grade 8D using SAP
    • Manage supplier improvement activities
    • Realize nonconforming material processes
    • Raise complaint report (PPM/cost)
    • Coordination of all SQA Department Engineers for Lineside Delivery Performance

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Associates Degree
    • Automotive experience
    • Quality experience
    • SAP, MS Office experience
