Responsibilities

  • Installation, diagnosis and update of FAS / ADAS (driver assistance) Systems
  • Installation and troubleshooting of camera based data collection systems (Vigem, Xoraya, Media Switch,.)
  • Root cause diagnosis of vehicle and its systems
  • Flash vehicle with weekly software upgrades for testing
  • Retrofit or install hardware
  • Document work performed with the use of electronic tracking software
  • Attend job-required training as requested
  • Meet KPI’s
  • Maintain ISO compliance
  • Process SPEED/ work orders according to Priority set by WS Supervisor
  • Technical support for quarterly events between departments (may include travel)
  • Ability to travel within the country at times with only limited notice

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree in Electrical, Computer, or Automotive Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the automotive industry with Driver Assistance Systems (prefer German manufacturer experience)
  • Knowledge of vehicle sensors: Camera, Lidar, Radar, Ultra-Sonic
  • Experience with Vector tools such as CANape and CANalyzer
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN and Automotive Ethernet (OABR)
  • Strong analytical and deductive skills – use evidence and facts to reach conclusions
  • Strong computer (Windows) and network skills
  • Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation, and written
  • Result and Performance driven
  • Valid and clean driver’s license
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • German language skills required
