This position acts as a liaison between German customers and their US branches, steering warranty related design changes, developing technical solutions using customer specific tools within the company standard designs and manufacturing processes.


  • Design support and know-how transfer.
  • CAD-Constructing Engineering
    • Create Part and Assembly Drawings.
    • Project Coordination for Series Engineering & Model Upgrading Training.
    • Testing and evaluation of TPB´s.
    • Preparation of ÄKO´s & compilation of documents.
    • Status reporting for expert committees.
    • Preparation of part lists & approval applications.
    • Supervision of FAKOM.
    • Supervision to B-Release and BMG-Release.
  • KVS / Connect Data Management.


  • Bachelor Degree in engineering field.
  • 2+ years experience in related field (quality engineering, design engineering, product engineering, etc.)
  • 2+ years of automotive experience including working with component suppliers, development groups, service providers or manufacturer producing or servicing components used in the automotive field.
  • Experience in Automotive Development and Production Support.
  • Experience with R&D, KVS, CATIA V5.
  • Experience and knowledge in Project Management.
  • Problem solving experience.
  • Knowledge of Standard Software Tools and Analysis processes.
  • Technical leadership skills, with an ability to direct the technical activities of lower level employees.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • International mind-set.
  • Experience with the automotive industry.
  • Technical fluency in German highly preferred.
