This position is responsible for steering pre-series and industrialization related design changes, developing technical solutions within the standard design and manufacturing processes. This position is scheduled to start in November 2016 and will run until end of 2018.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis support for pre-series and industrialization.
  • Distinct experience with interior experience instrument panel, door panel, center console.
  • Familiar with technologies like injection molding, laminating, foaming, ultrasonic welding, assembly.
  • Distinct experience with exterior experience bumper, spoiler, running board, rocker panel.
  • Familiar with technologies like injection molding, painting, punching, assembly.
  • Ability to drive investigate root cause analysis of functional issues.
  • Willing to travel (for example Germany: Training, Knowhow transfer etc.)

Qualifications

  • BS degree in engineering field (industrial, mechanical, electrical preferred)
  • 4+ years’ experience in your field (quality engineering, design engineering, product engineering, etc.)
  • 2+ years of automotive experience including working with component suppliers, development groups, service providers  or manufacturer producing or servicing components used in the automotive field.
  • Professional experience with Interior-Exterior Product management
  • Problem solving experience.
  • Product development experience.
  • Basic knowledge of CATIA V5 DMU.
  • Knowledge of Standard Software Tools and Analysis Processes in the automotive industry.
