This position is located at a major automotive manufacturer to perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on all engineering fleet vehicles utilizing specific repair procedures, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Routine maintenance of vehicle to include but not limited to fluids exchange, tire replace/seasonal exchange, wipers, filters, brakes, suspension etc.
  • Vehicle Repairs to include but not limited to engine, drivetrain, suspension and body electrical.
  • Root cause diagnosis of vehicle and its systems.
  • Retrofit or install hardware.
  • Document work performed with the use of electronic tracking software.
  • Attend job required training as requested.
  • Meet KPI’s.
  • Maintain ISO compliance.
  • Maintain shop equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain the necessary parts inventory.
  • Process SPEED/ work orders according to Priority set by WS Supervisor.
  • Technical support for quarterly events between departments (may include travel)

Qualifications

  • Technical Degree.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in the automotive industry.
  • Automotive Repair Experience.
  • Vehicle Assembly and Disassembly.
  • Strong analytical and deductive skills – use evidence and facts to reach conclusions.
  • Systemic thinking – using logic and reason.
  • Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation, and written.
  • Technical capacity to analyze vehicle mechanisms.
  • Strong communication skills, maintain positive attitude, team work, apply constructive criticism.
  • Process and customer oriented.
  • Result and Performance driven.
  • Valid and clean US driver license.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission.
